The Quiet Ones — book cover

Some girls were never the problem.
They were just never seen.

A book for the women and girls whose ADHD or autism went unrecognized — sometimes for decades.

You were the daydreamer at the window.
You got the grades, and went home exhausted.
You learned to mask before you could name it.
You always suspected something was different.

Who wrote it

Will is the father of a son with ADHD and autism, and spent years in support groups listening to women who were carrying a late diagnosis alone. Bethany is a registered nurse who shaped and checked the clinical heart of the book. The Quiet Ones is the keeping of a promise made in those rooms.
